Best Parenting ECards Ever...

Happy T.J. Day... not to be confused with B.J. day!! Ok so today is Trader Joes' Day here in Southern Oregon... meaning we finally got one!! Ahhhh!! So of course my mom and I had to be in line when the doors opened.  Because of the holiday of sorts here in Meddy... I am throwing together a funny, fluffy light post to send you into your weekend laughing!!

Without further ado... after scouring the internet for a good 15 minutes 3 hours, I give you the FUNNIEST Parenting ecards I've ever read. Well... let me rephrase that... The funniest G-rated parenting ecards... some were much funnier but since I don't feel like getting my balls busted today I decided not to post any that used foul language:)

These are my faves... but I'm feeling like I should balance the sarcasm out with some gush... It's been a super hard week at our house. My oldest (who has autism)  is going through something and has regressed a bit, making life pretty complicated. My husband and I only verbalized our heart ache to each other this morning, it's almost like if we don't say it, it means it's not really happening. It's not catastrophic by any means... it's a bump in the road and we'll adjust, because that's what you do when you 're a parent. But we're definitely in a rough patch to say the least. Where's the gushy bright spot you ask?? I'm getting to it, don't reach for the prozac just yet. The other night, I was just done, I was a mess and when my husband walked through the door he knew I was done. He sent me to bed and started working his second full time job as a dad to our very special boys. I laid in bed in zombie mode just staring into to nothing, there may have even been drool involved. Anyway, just as I was about to enter into full pitty party mode, I heard them singing, "Aaaaa-men, Aaa-me-en, Aa-men, Amen, Amen." It's their new favorite thing to do after we've all prayed. We sing it every night but there was something about hearing it from a distance that snapped me out of my funk and completely filled my insides with so much love for these little wonder boys.... I love being a mom, it's hard and sometimes it's rewarding but it's always my heart... my monkeys make me crazy and make me complete all at once, I wouldn't have it any other way!

Let us know your favorite... if it's not on here... post it to our Facebook page!

New To The Blog?
Just in case you're new around here I thought I'd introduce myself.... I'm the scattered crazy Earth Monkey Mom Lindsay:) And these are my wonder boys. My Hubbs and I have been married for 12 years and crazy has become our love language. My kids never have clean faces, my house is usually a mess and I always have 3-15 loads of unfolded laundry sitting on my couch. My family received anExtreme Home Makeover about a year ago and it's crazier than ever here! I post once a week here on EMM and also over on my person blog: The Fearless Experiment. We're glad you're here and we hope you'll stick around! More than anything we want you to know that none of us have it all together... and wether your kids are 40 or 4 you're not alone in your journey through motherhood!
