Sit up and listen lady! {oh sorry, I was talking to myself again...}
Today I'm sharing my favorite inspirational saying of all time! I have shared it before, but I needed it again. It hits me every once in a while the impact that I have on the entire feeling of my home and how not only my husband, but my kids react to "my attitude". (no pressure! sheesh!) So today, I'm gonna keep these things in mind all day long and see what happens.
Thats it girls, that's all this mama's got!!!!
The longer I live,
the more I realize the impact of attitude on life.
Attitude, to me, is more important than facts.
It is more important than the past, than education,
than money, than circumstances, than failures,
than successes, than what other people think or say or do.
It is more important than appearance, giftedness or skill.
It will make or break a company... a church... a home.
The remarkable thing is we have a
choice every day regarding the attitude
we will embrace for that day. (or moment by moment)
We cannot change our past...
we cannot change the fact that people
will act in a certain way. (my kids will whine)
We cannot change the inevitable. (milk will be spilled)
The only thing we can do is play on the one string we have, and that is our attitude...
I am convinced that life is 10% what happens to me
and 90% how I react to it. (freak out, or attempt calm)
And so it is with you...
we are in charge of our attitudes.

In case you are new around here, I am GENA...I am a self titled "professional mess picker upper". Becoming the mother of the two, mommy titled "mess makers" was not an easy road. I've been thru the struggle of infertility, and ended up with the two most amazing children thru the miracle of adoption.
I love my God, my husband, and my children (not always in that order) I am fanatic about keeping my family healthy...If you like to learn, but don't take life very seriously, we will get along just fine...I will never be stagnant, mentally or physically...so, Ready, Set, Go!!!
